Cornwall based holiday park marketing agency scoops prestigious business award

Pitched, who provide exclusive website, booking and promotional services for holiday parks and campsites across the UK have been crowned ‘Best New Business’ at the 2019 Cornwall Business Awards.
Pitched, who were one of three businesses shortlisted for the award were announced winners at a glitzy gala event held at St Mellion Resort on 27th June and were presented their accolade by Gold Medal Olympic Athlete, Helen Glover MBE.
The company, who operate out of Bodmin in Cornwall has been making waves in the UK holiday park sector with their innovative websites, marketing and new booking and reservation software services.
Shortlisted candidates for the 2019 awards were judged during a tense ‘showdown day’ where business representatives had to pitch their case in-front of a panel of business leaders to determine the overall winner.
Mark Duddridge, Chair of Cornwall & Isles of Scilly LEP who sponsored the category and formed part of the judging panel said “Cornwall has an enviable reputation as a premium tourist destination. Pitched has shown by the application of Cornwall’s digital skills network and connectivity that both the quality of this tourist offer and productivity of the industry could be greatly enhanced.”
“Pitched are a fast-growing business, supporting operators from Cornwall to Scotland and have shown that through a close attention to their customers’ needs and some innovative solutions that they can really grow their customers businesses.”
